So - we are definitely going with a fall theme...the florist we are going with is www.verbenadesigns.com - we met with the owner the other day & liked her and the price and everything. We will check out one more florist JUST IN CASE but I think we're going with this one. We will stick to the rich fall colors - and the centerpieces are either going to be hurricanes with large pillars in them, or this arrangement she did where, a pumpkin is carved and used as the vase for the flowers - and there are a lot of beautiful flowers in it... I have to show you guys the pics of that, if I can find them....
After all that is in place I will look at invites & favors (via the Pash warehouse by my job ) I am excited about this now!!

It's going to be so nice! I'm the MOH in my friends wedding on Sept. 30th and I'm having so much fun helping her find stuff for a Fall theme. She didn't actually ask for my help with that, but the girls on here keep posting such beautiful stuff and I can't help but pass it on to her. (She was a member on the old site but didn't make the jump. I keep her updated on stuff though for things like Fall-ish items, cakes and centerpieces, etc.)

Holy mackeral! What beautiful work they do! There are lots of Fall themed bouquets and centerpieces on there that will meet your needs. WOW!!
I love the carved orange and white pumpkins and the baby ones! ANd all those mustard/golden Calla lilies and the berries and branches- beyooootiful!
They need to drop the Jaime-Lynn Sigler references off each page! LOL
Best of luck with your planning !

OMGosh, so many things I love on your florists site! Here are my favorites (not that you asked, but):
And even though I think this is a bit too much for each table, holy crap it's gorgeous.

I think that last pic of the centerpiece CW posted would be great if the sticks weren't so tall.. If it were scaled down a bit it would be great for a smaller reception.

Yeah this is completely out of the question...it averages $125 per table -
#&*%%^ THAT!!! But it looks great - and the candles hanging off of it. It was very difficult for FH and I to say "NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT!! THIS IS NOT IN OUR BUDGET"
Thanks for the compliments. I'm happy with the different ways we can go doing the Fall thing!!

Ya know, the sticks with candles one, looks very DIY-able...! Hmmm.... Would be an interesting centerpiece no matter where or if there's an occassion for it...

Thanks for the pics Lesley, that definitely gave me a great idea!!
I just wanted to let everyone know that things are going fine, I know I've hardly been around too much - its just been very busy, especially now that Spring/Summer is here...when I am not working I'm out with the kids. I have been putting in 10 - 12 hour work days AND working the weekends. I'm sorry everyone, I am not half as supportive for y'all as I wish I could be.
But I am thinking about you all
Love you girls and Steve (and Aidan for that matter )
