they are so great! I've been trying to find a simple, low key tiara and that site has several choices. Thanks!

Although I discovered that they nail you with shipping. However, even though it's about the same price as the one I already bought, I may buy the other one anyways, it's more demure. Then I'll resale the one I have.

I hate that!!! I didn't check shipping prices.
The wedding stores charge $90 and up for head pieces!!! I got mine off ebay for $30 but shipping was still 2x the actual cost for shipping to me Since it was still a deal, I did it. SUCKS tough. I hate being overcharged for shipping.

Those are nice. Shipping SUCKS That's how they always get you on e-bay. The shipping is twice what it should really be! A$$holes. LOL

this seller on ebay has jewelry and tiara sets. The shipping is still a bit high, but they do combo shipping. Quality is suppose to be great and they do accept offers for lower than the amount and are suppose to be really good at shipping right out!

theres a site on ebay where the postage cost are really reasonable, the handmade tiaras are really cheap too.

I got my tiara and my bridesmaids tiaras frm there. I wasn't even buying my bridesmaids tiaras, but i could get three for under £25 so i couldn't resist

I helped my cousin make a tiara for her wedding a few years ago and we spent a total of $5 on it. People kept asking her where it was from! But it is nice to see such good deals because there is a huge mark up on anything wedding related.

hmm... am I the Laurie your referring to??
Here is my update on my tiara problem...
Tiara #1 - a bride in Alberta picked up the tiara for me for $10 and shipped it for $8.
Here is a picture of it.. Not a clear picture but I will describe it...
Its actually a comb... there are 6 flower looking gems.. each of the middle are dark purple with a bunch of light purple stones around it...
Tiara #2 - bought from a girl in Toronto for $12.. rhinestones.. I am not wearing a veil with either of them..
Not sure which one I will use but I will take both to my hair trial and see what they suggest.. both look wonderful with my lavendar dress.. I'm having my make up and hair done at the bridal shop where I bought my dress...
Decisions... decisions... wooohoo.. now I have two tiaras... hahahhaha
I do love ebay.. I bought 4 beautiful hankies to give out to a few special ladies with a card and a poem inside.. I found some purple boxes to put them in..

That is a dilema... they are both beautiful. I like the purple one, just because it's what you originally had your heart set on and it's different

Another good and inexpensive place to look is Claire's or The Icing. They have tiarra's, jewelry, hair clips, and just about any other accessory. This store really came in handy for me.
