I need some opinions.
Yesterday we went to DH Grandparents farm to go fishing. It was a 100+ degrees. We were only out there for about 15 minutes and I passed out. I am hypoglacemic, but when i tested my blood sugar before we went out there it was fine and we had just ate chinese and I also tested it when he got me back home, right after i passed out and it was the same. So I have already ruled out that. I was just wondering if anyone else would know what this could be caused from. And I know that I had plenty of fluids in my body becuase I don't ever drink less then 10 glasses of water during a day. I didn't go to the hospital becuase DH got me to come back around within 1 min, and Im not on his insurance yet.

Any opinions will be appreciated. I recieved some from work and I was just wanting to see what you all have to say.

Pregnant? I was pretty light-headed way in the earliest stages of mine. I never passed out, but I swear I could have sometimes.

That is a possibility I almost passed out, my roommate practically carried me into our room at school, and felt over heated in 60 degree weather when I was first pregnant.

Also my sister used to get very light headed when she was just too hot, not dehydrated though.

Do you have an allergy to MSG? Chinese food is filled with it.

It may have just been the heat. I hope you are feeling better now.

I am used to being outdoors. I worked at a plant store and i was the outside manager. We go camping many times during the summer. I am used to 100 degree weather. I have been out in it this year for hours and not have it affect me.

You can get a rapid vasodilation from the heat and that can make you dizzy or even pass out. Your blood vessels expand rapidly to try and cool you off- but it makes it harder for your blood volume to be efficiently pumped.

Either that or pregnant.

i couldn't go to the store today, my car's battery was being stupid. I will more than likely go buy a hpt tomorrow after work. I won't go to the doctor until I am on insurance.

I had the same problem I was early one month then late the next and then the month I was pregnant I was so confused by my periods I hadn't even realized it was late.

So would it be a good or bad thing? Or do you not really know yet?

I obviously have nothing better to offer by the way of advice than Wynelle, so I'm crossing my fingers that the result is what you want!

DG you sound so bummed lately - are you okay? I mean, really okay? I know work is rough, and you're trying to figure out what's going on with you physically. I know how much that can take a toll on your psyche. I tend to lose my mind, patience, happiness about every six months - just know that we're here for you okay? If you ever want to talk, feel free to PM me, or you have my address - write me a letter if it helps to get it down on paper. I'm thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed that all is well.
