I need some opinions and advice
Since where I live everything is way over priced I am making everything I can. I need some opinions though on a few things and also some advice
These are going to be 4 per table of 8 and they cost about 50cents to make each I want to fill them with some sort of candy (my colours are pink and green) but I have not been able to find cheap candy to go in them

I dont know whether to use the darker flower or the lighter one or like alternating ones the centerpieces cost about 3 dollars to make

These are our favours they cost 5 dollars for the rubber stamp to be made and about 50 cents for each candle holder
Well that is all I have made so far I will keep updating as I get more done
I cant seem to get the picture all the same size sorry

I really like the candles with your initials. Those are cool! And I would go with the lighter flowers in the vases. I'm not sure how I feel about the candy jars, though. Maybe I just need to see one finished? (I know you haven't found candy to go in them yet.)

I'd probably alternate the two shades of pink. What are your wedding colors, or are you having a theme? And what color are the BM dresses?
As for candy, you can get M&M's done in your wedding colors.

You could probably just do white jordan almonds or white pillow mints if you wanted...although the candy jar doesn't seem quite as elegant as the other favors and centerpieces you've made, in my opinion.
I love the rest! And I think the lighter flower looks best...more natural. I can't wait to see what else you do, it looks like you must be really talented.

I'm not to big on the jars but I can't really see much of it. If you are going to use different shades of pink I think that would be nice to alternate them and the favors look great. You really getting a big start on your wedding.

I'm having a hard time imagining the table set up.
You have are planning on having the candy jars, the flowers and the candles?
Can you describe your image of the table set up?
Mike and Ikes does a tropical selection that is more bright pastel colors... they might work. The pastel mints might be good too.
I'm kinda thinking either the jars (but I would use varied heights) or the flowers. Not both.
I love the favors. Very nice

I also can't quite imagine how the table will look. Everything seems to be near the same size. Usually, the centerpiece is larger and is the focal point. Can you use a larger diameter bowl for the flowers? You can rent them at most rental centers for a nominal cost. You might consider placing them on mirror tiles, which can also be rented.

This is another thread with a link to some cool table decoration ideas
http://www.pashweddings.com/weddingf...ead.php?t=2082
In the little jars, if you're dying for candy, I'd recommend after-dinner mints, meltaways (the colorful chocolate chip looking things that are kinda minty and have white dots on the tips of them), or Jordan Almonds, though Jordan Almonds scream "BABY SHOWER!" to me for some reason. Maybe in just pink and green though it'd look less baby and more weddingy.
If I may suggest something to guide you out of "the box" - I'd sink green apples and bright pink flowers into the jars and include them in the decor. Or limes, since the jars look kinda small. Ooh or a bunch of small watermelon wedges and crushed ice.

Where did you find candle holders for 50 cents?!?! That's a great buy. And what you have with your flower centerpiece is similar to what I'll probably end up doing. I like the lighter pink flower best.
Welcome!

I got the candle holders at dollarama they were 2 for a dollar as the the jars i decided to take the lids off them and the claps to make them smaller and more modern they are actually a lot smaller than the centerpieces. I like the idea of pink and green m&m's for the set up of the table the centerpeice is going to be on a mirror in the middle and the favours right infront of each person the jars I was thinking could got in between two people how does that sound
