I am having Pink and green as my wedding colours would it look ok if i used all different types of pink but around the same shade of green or should i stick to one shade of each. I am new to this board and I already like it a lot more than other boards

It would depend on the green and the shades of pink you use. Did you have some specific shades in mind?? Maybe if we seen them we could give as better answer.

Welcome to PASH! Have you seen a picture of different color pinks with a touch of green? I think it would be fine to do the different colors of pink for the dresses and then add a touch of green in the flowers. I don't know if I would have so many in different pinks and then have one in green. I think useing the green as a accent would be nice.

Hi Welcome to Pash!
When I think of pink and green I think of Easter. Are you having a spring wedding? I agree with LJ on having the green as an accent. With that I would do a very light shade of pink for other things.

Heather, according to the ticker it'll be right in the spring / summer
M T - welcome to Pash!! I have to say that those 2 colors remind me so much of a watermelon. However, I might just be thinking of the wrong shade... if its more of a sage green than a light bright green it would be really nice probably. And with different shades of pink it would likely be nice.

I'm not a big fan of tickers and tend to ignore them, lol.

I think you could do deeper shades of the same tone of pink with a nice, mossy green.

When I think pink and green I think of the hues in a watermelon. I'd stick with natures perfect palette there

I have had brides who used pink in tones from hot pink to dark pink to a few light pink accents with a darker shade of green. It can be very striking if you use more than one shade of pink. Pink was the "in" color last year. Brides paired it with burgundy (looked great) and with black. They also had bridesmaids in pale pink with vibrant flowers and in fuschia. It should be beautiful.

I've seen it done in bridal magazines, all different shades of pink, and it was very pretty. I'd stick to one green if I was having the different pinks. I'd go for a pale green (but that's just personal taste!).

There is a shade called chrysolite in crystals which is a sweet fresh color of green. Mixed with any color of pink, dark or light it is perfect! Lynnie

If you want to go more the floral route, I'd use a dark green and some lighter pinks - that would make a nice contrast.
