I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything. I've cut my bridal party down to nothing, so no MOH to "think" of things. I do have a friend who was supposed to be my MOH, and she may still be like, "OMG we have to do something." BUT she's fairly crippled so that "something" might be a spa party at one of our homes.
As for Richy's bachelor "party" he can do what he wants. Strippers aren't really his thing. I bet he, his brother and BIL, maybe some friends will go get some drinks and go clubbing though. I wouldn't put it past at least ONE of his friends to get him a lapdance somewhere though. But if it's just his brother(s) they probably won't be out for that. They all know getting married to me doesn't mean he'll never see the light of day again, so it's not a huge deal for anyone what they do. We're still the same couple after we're married

For my first wedding we had a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. We all wanted to go to the same strip club and women aren't allowed in there without being accomanied by a man. It was a BLAST! I got handcuffed to the stage and two women gave me a lap dance!
This time around there won't be a party.... unless *someone* wants to come throw one for me!!!

Being that we're traveling for our wedding and i'll be living so far away from my really close friends, we're not doing the typical parties. We are getting together any friends or anyone that wants to go really and going out a few nights before... but we're all going out together (not guys seperate from the girls) and we'll make it very clear that its a bachelor/bachelorette party. I've never agreed with those kinds of parties. I typically dont feel comfortable going out clubbing anyway so to be the focus at a bachelorette party would be totally uncomfy for me.

Is that a hint? I'm your woman, leave it all to me.
I'm not totally sure what I'm doing yet, we've tossed around ideas of going clubbing (I'm a dance addict), or camping, or a strip club, or a spa night, or a combo of all four. Guess we ought to get cracking on that huh?
FH says he probably won't be doing anything. That's his deal, but I'm going somewhere, lol.

My sisters are going to throw a party with drunkeness and all that but we will be staying in, my aunt wants to throw it at their house, as two of my sisters will be underage at the time and I want them to be there even if they can't participate in everything.
My FH I know will go out get stinking drunk and what not, he's really not into strippers so I don't see them ending up there, but who knows.

For my bachelorette party, we went out to dinner, to a dance club, and ended up at a local Denny's for dessert and to open my bach presents. I had a few drinks, but did not get even close to being drunk. The party was the week before the wedding.
I don't know the details of my husband's bachelor party, but I know that the evening at least started at his best man's house. The best man made dinner for everyone (salmon). I don't think they actually left the house. I'm sure there was a lot of booze, but I cannot say as to whether or not they had a stripper. I never asked because I didn't care. His party was the night before our wedding.

We are thinking of doing either a joint thing at Dave and Busters (adult archde) or going down to the beach for a bon-fire and BBQ.

I'm writing an article about rowdy bachelorette parties for FOXNews.com and am looking for a bride-to-be to share her story. We're also interested in hearing from grooms who have ditched the traditional visit to a strip club for something more refined.
Marge129, your story sounds perfect.
Don't worry, if your tale is too scandalous to have your name attached to it, we can give you a pseudonym to preserve your anonymity.
You can send me e-mail through this site or directly at spencer.beggs@foxnews.com.
Thanks,
Spencer

Marge,
I'd love to hear from you, your story sounds great.
For some reason I can't use the PM feature here (maybe the admins have it turned off). You can still reach me at ***e-mail address redacted to prevent spam***, so please try again when your e-mail program isn't acting up.

The PM feature is disabled until you have at least 10 posts... that's why you can't use it.
I'll try emailing you now....
