Default Wax seals?

Is anyone using a wax seal for your wedding invitations? FH and I decided to do them but when researching the pros and cons we read that they sometimes break when going through the post office machines. To avoid hours of work being destroyed we went with a Faux Wax Seal alternative. This is basically a colored hot glue. You pump some glue on the envelope, wait a few seconds and place the (cold) seal on the "wax". After a few more seconds it will set and look beautiful! Another pro - your seal won't break when people open their envelopes.

I have so many compliments on our invitations. FH designed, printed and cut them all himself! Then he sealed them all as well. They turned out beautifully. I'll post pictures once I have them up. Here is the site I used for the wax (although the seals are cheaper at Michael's or any craft store)
