Default Gift's for the Wedding Party!

I am having trouble finding out what to do about the gifts for every one.

MOH & BM
I have paid for the fabric for there dress and mom is making them. The only thing they have to pay for is shoes. I told them I didn't care as long as they are black or a dark red.

I also purchased necklaces, earrings, and shawls

One problem I also got these.

Should I give them these or should I give them to our parents. DO I have to give his mother one!

BM & GM
Kenny purchased there shirts and ties $79.00. Thats is about the same as what I have spent on the girls not counting the vases.

FG & RB
Not sure I thought about a Barbie bride for Paige and some kind of truck for Kyle but he has so many toys and she does to. Any one have any clue on what I should do?

Ok now for are parents should I give the vases or should I get them something else?

That would be nice to give them to the parents. I know you really wouldn't want to give your evil FMIL anything--that wretched woman! But since you HAVE it anyway.

As for the kids, those gifts are nice. They'd like it more, I'm sure, than the engraved-type stuff they try to sell for FG and RB gifts.

I agree with jen... my favorite place to shop is things remembered for that kind of stuff.... they always have great deals. we were gonna get our RB a tricycle to ride down the aisle but i think its going to cause more problems than its worth so we'll probably go the engraved gift route too.

I also think that since you have the vases, and are giving them out anyway, you should go ahead and give one to the evil FMIL.

As for the FG and RB, I gave the FG a "real" necklace to wear in the wedding. She has a lot of costume jewelry that she wears all the time. So I decided to get her a necklace she will prize in the future. Her Mom keeps it for her and lets her wear it only on special occasions until she's older. I am sorry to say that I don't know what we gave the RB. It was DH's responsibility. I made sure he got something, but I can't currently remember what.

Depending on their ages, they have those cute bride and groom stuffed bears. They might be cute... give the groom to the RB and the bride to the FG. It would definately remind them that they were in the wedding and is still age appropriate typically.

I'm hopeless at this, I have no idea what you could get the RB.

I'd go for jewellery for the FG, but the toy idea sound cute too...

I was my mum's FG many years ago and she gave me a pendant that was a love heart with linked wedding rings on it, I loved it coz it made me feel part of the wedding.

Best thing ever ... get them both VTECH VSMILE video game system with one game - the regular or handheld one. I don't know how much you want to spend but they are educational and great for preschoolers. Their parents might thank you.
