My flowers
I should get my flowers in tomorrow. I ordered them from a lady in IL that does weddings. I didn't want real b/c I think it is so hard to preserve a bouquet.
I'm trying to get FH to put the flowers up on our site so I can post a picture of them.

I don't know anything about artificial flowers. Do they come already prepared and in bouquets? Or do you have to put them together yourself?

I used them for the bouquets too, but used real for the corsages and boutts.
Maroki you can do it either way. I hired a woman at a fraction of the cost to make the bouquets for me. I'm sure I could have done it, but I'm a perfectionist and would have never finished them in time. After researching several places, we saved over $800 in the end. Well worth it, and the BMs and myself all still have our bouquets.

I'm leaning more toward artificial flowers all the time. I saw a couple of assembled bouquets online and I'm thinking of ordering them just to get a feel for what they might look like.
It just seems like a much less expensive way to achieve a very similar look.

I bought the following arrangements for like $300 online.
1 - my bouquet
7 - bridesmaids
3 - moms
2 - grandmothers
21 - guys bouts (ushers, pastor, groomsmen, dads, etc)
1 - throwing bouquet
3 - cake topping flowers
The lady makes beautiful arrangements. If you are interested I can give you her name and email. She is out of IL. She is really nice and very fast.

FedEx hasn't come as far as I know. But I'm at work and they are being delivered to my house. I pray they are there when I get home tonight! I can't wait to see them in person!

I just tracked them. Looks like one box is on one truck and the other box is on another truck. How random! Anyhow...out for delivery now so I should get them soon!!!

They're not artificial flowers - they're forever flowers!
My grandma calls them "forever flowers" because they never die.
I had them for all of my floral arrangements. My grandma made all of the arrangements. Unless you were right up close to them, you couldn't even tell they weren't fresh flowers.
It was great, because I didn't have to worry about them wilting, and she could really take her time making the arrangements because I bought the flowers almost a year before the wedding.

I had so many nightmares about not ordering flowers or getting the wrong ones I decided to order "forever flowers" and then be done. I get them this week and I have a month to make changes if I don't like them.

What flowers are in your bouquet? What colours did you go for? What shape?
I love seeing how people pick their flowers, it was one thing in our wedding that neither of us had a stong opinion on... I love flowers so almost anything would've made me happy!

I wanted calla lilies and I wanted white. But when she sent me samples I loved the brick red color. So we changed our colors to black, white and brick red. So the flower is what swayed my shade of red!
I don't kow how I chose the calla lily. I think I just saw one at a bridal show and liked how simple it was.

My bouquet is pretty full and has 12 callas with filler. The girl's has 3 or 4 callas and filler and is pretty simple. My girls aren't into fufuso I made their bouquets to fit them.

(My BM & FGs are having simpler versions of mine too... I think it looks nice in the photos if they all tie in... )

They have to have arrived by now, right? Are they as beautiful as you had hoped? When do we get to see pictures?

Are you not having any flowers in your centerpieces? That is a great price for all the bouquets and flowers that you got!
I love calla lilies too, I think they are beautiful. Be sure to post pictures!

I bought artificial (silk) flowers and put the bouquets together myself. The corsages and bouteniers were actually seashells made to look like rosebuds - we ordered them onlne and they came ready-made.

Sorry for the delay in response...I have been out of town in Birmingham AL.
I got the flowers the morning I left for my trip. I'm pleased with them although FH wants me to exchange his for smaller flowers. He thinks his and the gm's are too large. But over all they are very pretty. Once FH actually puts the pictures up on the site I'll post them here!
