Default Registries and Showers

I had two showers this past weekend. Which concludes the shower events...They were really fun...no games (yippee)....the shower that my attendants hosted was awesome!! We drank chocolate martinis and ate cheesecake...AND...they had every guest make a couple of scrapbook pages of them and me....It was awesome..I had an entire scrapbook of me and my friends and family...some pictures I had never even seen before...and alot of thier quips and quotes were nice. I liked it.

Now, our registries are pretty much defunct after the past weekend...do we go and add things? Are guests annoyed if they go to purchase a gift and the registries are bare OR do you think they just get a giftcard and think "ah, that much easier". Opinions, please...because while we could add SOME things....there probably isn't alot more we could come up with.

Congrats on the showers! Chocolate martinis and cheesecake! Yum! I wouldn't feel obligated to put more on the registry--especially if it's not stuff you really WANT. But I guess now's the time to add the things you don't really *need* but would be cool to have--the kind of stuff maybe you might not really splurge on for yourself.

aw that sounds like fun I'd leave the registry be, unless you really can think of something you forgot. By now they know that you're not gift-grabbing and cash is the only thing they can give you that you didn't get yet.

I would leave it be unless you think of something you forgot. If there is nothing left on there most people will just give gift cards or something that every home could use.

I would leave the registries alone unless there are items that you wanted but didn't include initially. OR - If the store has new items that weren't there when you registered, and you want/need the items.
