I Miss You!!!
Hi ladies!!!
Just a quick check in!! I miss you ladies, I miss your positivity and great, loving posts about your men and kids and each other...SIGH...
We are getting the PC looked at by "24 Hour Geeks" on Wednesday so Chris and I will each have access as opposed to sharing this one laptop!
Life is great!! I am so lucky to have found such a great guy! We soooo enjoy each other's company! He is great at "earning his keep"! Does loads and loads of housework without me ever having to ask. He picks up after himself ( and me!!), I could go on and on!! LOL And he's romantic and funny and solid. I can talk to him about anything.
We have decided to stay in Canada instead of moving to MO! I am thrilled! We are making sure his daughter knows how much she is loved and missed and Chris' family has stepped up to make sure they see her and spend time with her. It's hard on both Chris and his daughter but I have to respect his desire to finally live his own life and not live it the way others want him to. Selfish I guess on my part but we will have a better life here.
We have applied for Permanent Residency for him, ($1500!! Yikes) and he can't work till that is approved- which could take up to 7 months!! So we're trying to find things for him to do like volunteering and free things to do in the city. We could easily go majorly broke trying to entertain ourselves!!
I post on another board and got "attacked" today for checking in with "too much goo on a daily basis" and making people "cringe" and "feel sick". Kind of made me take a look at my priorities!!!
Much love!!

Is goo, the mushy gushy feelings???
I can't imaging attacking you for such things. I can only imagine how unpleasant their lives are and how it made you feel.
I am glad you checked in, can't wait for you to have your PC up and running so we can hear more "goo" from you.

The love!!! I'm feeling the love!!! BIG SQUEEZE!!!
LJ we are still planning on doing that- I have the dress afterall! Maybe for our 1st anniversary?! LOL
Yep breezy "Goo" is sort of short for "gooey"( lovey dovey, all that). Could be interpreted as a rude sort of discharge! LOL
Sad eh, when negativity and drama and hostility flourish and happy posts are bashed and frowned upon. Go figure!!

It's really good to see you around Claire!
I thought you were just getting all caught up in married life Sounds like the plans have change a whole lot though! You quite happy about it all? So what will happen about your job now? Didn't you hand in your notice to move to the US?

You can spread your "goo" over here as much as you want! (I know - that sounds sort of nasty!)
I'm so glad to hear from you. I was beginning to wonder if you'd left us!

Hiya Annie!!! And all you great and groovy gals!!!
I'm on a leave of absence so it doesn't change much for me. We're getting Chris fingerprinted (!!!) , a requirement for immigration and a full medical on Thursday and then he gets an FBI security check! And then we submit the application which takes 7 months.
So we're looking at home based businesses to see if we can find something of interest to make some dough as he won't be ablle to work during this process- we can try find something "under the table" I'm not thrilled at that idea.
We may get him involved in Volunteering.
We're painting and it's taking 4 freakin' coats of paint!! It's exhausting!! But it's going to be really HOT! I was reading that bedrooms should not be cool colours as it reduces passion ...Well it is a SPICY RED!!! Ooooo baby!!!
Much love chicks!!!

LOL. You're going to have that whole house done as 'busy work' aren't you
I don't blame you at all though, you might as well do it while you both have some spare time!
It must be bizarre spending all this time together after spending *so* much time apart! It'd be like sticking your whole relationship (marriage!!! ) under the microscope...
It must be going well though! Otherwise you'd be on here to vent, not to spread your goo!
