Default Casting Call for Comedy Central

I received the following casting call info from Comedy Central asking if maybe one of you would be interested. I agreed to post it for them. Good luck to anyone who tries out and remember us when you're famous!

*************************************************
Planning on getting engaged...or already engaged and planning your wedding?

We want to shoot all of the excitement of your engagement and wedding for a new documentary series for Comedy Central.

We're taking one deserving couple and sending in our master wedding team to make their big day an elaborate dream come true. This is a light hearted show and not in any way mean-spirited. The show will feature one couple and their family members and follow them through all of the stress and excitement of planning a wedding. Families with big personalities are the focus of this show.

We are looking for couples…

- Who have a great sense of humor
- Who have families with BIG personalities
- Who are dying to tie the knot but need help with planning it (need help planning the shower, reception, rehearsal dinner, bachelor party, menu tasting, ceremony, etc.)
- And… who are young and fun and want to have a ball on their wedding day!

Please tell us a little bit about yourself… how you two met, what town you live in, etc…

Also be sure to include your name, two phone numbers to contact you, your email address and a digital photo of yourself if possible…

My family is small and unwilling to be on TV. And I've scaled my wedding down to suit my tomboyish self. But otherwise, yeah! LOL

I should do it...if they'll pay for the wedding dress of my dreams. I don't think they'll be interested in the 2nd marriage with 2 kids type...although my kids have HUGE personalities. My son does the greatest impressions...all different accents. He's hysterical. He says he wants to be Jim Carrey!

I will have to keep this a secret from my brother. My oldest brother does stand up on the side. He would love to do this. I have the big family... they would get lots of drama .

Cru5h, I was thinking how funny it would be with Richy's family and their mixed metaphors. Though, I realize who would want to do this and have their family become a laughingstock.

I don't want to see my uglyass on tv either. But as dramatic as my mom and I can be, we have more normal times than not, esp. now that she's on her meds again .
