Default Sugar-free candy.... ?

How much is "too much"? The sugarless chocolates give a laxative effect if you eat too many. Just wondering about how much before it causes the squirts? The candies on my desk are like the size of a Nestle Treasure candy.

Since I'm hypoglycemic, sugar-free is the only kind of candy I can have. I do find that even after one small piece I end up getting stomach cramps and bad gas. So it's trial and error for me. The fake chocolate is much worse than say sugar-free mints. What kind do you have?

Russell Stover Low Carb assorted chocolate miniatures w/Splenda. It's the fake chocolate that does it huh? *passes gas* I have a pretty strong stomach, but I'm going to play it safe and have something else. I have PMS and I'm craving really crappy things.

What ingredient is in "fake chocolate" that causes stomach cramps? Is that Olestra stuff in it?

No, but I think a few different chemicals have that effect. I do miss REAL sugar! All this chemical stuff tastes like cr@p...in addition to making you have to take one!

The BEST gummi bears around are Haribo Gummi Bears! Actually bought 3 bags of them today and stocked up.

It's the artificial sugar that gets to some, I know some people can't drink diet soda, or flavored waters b/c they contain it.

I get a stomach ache sometimes from the diet sodas or Crystal Lights. But I don't know what my limit is for that because sometimes I don't get an ache at all.
