Favors...

I was unsure where to put this, but we thought of a fun guest favor to give out...We are making out own kahlua. Most of our family loves coffee and liquor and we thought it would be unique. Hopefully I can find cute bottles to put it in. We are also getting the personalized M&Ms...I love favors!!

That sounds interesting! How do you make your own Kahlua? (Isn't that trademarked? LOL!)

Kahlua itself is trademarked (It's a brand, like Kleenex is to facial tissue.), but coffee liquour is not. It's made with vodka and flavoring. I have a recipe at home, but I've never tried it.

it sounds great and unique... my only word of caution is to do your best to make sure no alcoholics will be in attendance if you're giving this out. Also, that no minors can get their hands on the liquor (you could be held liable for "serving an alcoholic beverage to a minor") during the reception.

If you have any leftover favors, feel free to send them to me... I'll gladly dispose of them for you.

That sounds fun! We are giving out the personalized M&Ms too, but I think that is about it. How much kahlua are you going to have to make?

We will have it out of reach from the kiddies, there will only be 4 under the age at the party. I think we will make several liters. I just found some neat 10oz. gourmet glasses to put them in...Now the fun begins....
