Thumbs up Using lace as gift wrap for shower, more!

Just a few simple tips for using lace instead of gift wrap or netting (which just gets thrown away - a waste of $). For smaller gifts, try buying lace doilies. There are MANY styles to choose from. Put the lace underneath what you are planning to wrap and pull the edges up and over. Cinch with a bow or thin strip of lace. This looks cute, and the receiver gets two gifts because they can take their doily home and use it. Try lace tabletoppers or doilies under the Unity Candle, under floral arrangements on the tables (if you are having a traditional reception) or under photo frames on display at the reception (a popular trend). The lace sets these things off beautifully, and when you're done using them - you give them to people who helped make your day special. A nice site to try is thecountrystore.net for high quality lace. This isn't the cheapest lace, but it is durable and there are many styles to choose from. Enjoy!
