I like the second one, but add the tendrils around your face like in the first. (I personally, have a thing against the piled on top of the head look.)

I might not do the veil thing. I am not sure yet. I like Lizbet idea.

Eh. Neither one is really my cup o' tea. They're both a little "much" and over-done for my taste. I mean, if the hair is higher than one-third of the length of one's face, it's way too much IMO! LOL! That's just my personal rule of thumb! Both of these brides have 2/3 a face-length of hair going!

Actually the second pic isn't much higher than the crown of her head. It just looks higher because of the angle at which the pic is taken. You would see more of a backwards curl than an upward curl if she were looking straight ahead.

See the second one looks like her pile o' hair is on the back/top of her head. The first one looks like she's got a mound on TOP of her head.

I should add that I have a special "sensitivity" to big hair being from NJ. We've gotten a bad rap as the "big hair state"/"Jersey girl" stereotype (since the 80s) so I try to avoid it at all costs! So, it's just a personal preference!

I understand! I need something on top my head. I dont want flat hair that day. I am really liking the second one better. I think her hair is more towards the back of her head than piled on top.

I thought Texas had that reputation. We see some one with "Big Texas Hair" and we call them out!

I like the first one better.. I think its because its softer around the face. I think the second one would be good if you did what Liz suggested and make it softer around your face...
