Default Embossed

Ok, the invitations that I bought for the reception are already embossed. However, since it's small, you don't really notice it that much. My question is, can I make embossing powder work on it? Or is there something else I can put on it to make it stand out? Need your ideas.

I have no idea sorry!

Have you ordered a few extra so you can try it out? Have you seen them in the flesh or just online? I'm just wondering if the light will hit them differently and make it stand out more...

It could be pretty enough with the subtle embossed pattern...

Em the only thing I can think of is that gilt rubbing stuff you can get in art stores. I used it to make the light catch the moldings on my ceiling rose but I'd bet they've got a variation on that for rubbing onto embossed card.

Ann, the ones I am talking about are the print your own invitation kit I bought (reception invites). There are 50 invitations, and I don't think I'll need that many. But I will look into your suggestion, it's worth a shot. And you can't really see the embossing on it (it has a scroll design on the top and bottom) unless you are holding it really close. I'd like to stand out a bit more is all. But if not, it's ok. Thanks!

Are you talking about gold-leafing (or silver, or any metal)? That's what I was about to suggest.
