Can't Decide Between Two Choices...
Ok our "anniversary" if you can call it that of when we started going out is July 18th so I was kind of thinking we would wait until that turned out to be a Friday then have the wedding at night around 7:30 or so that way it wouldn't interfere as much with peoples work or weekends and we could slip away for a long weekend. Anyway I'm not huge on big extravagant weddings, but the one thing that is non negotiable is lilies. I love lilies and I'm having a hard time choosing between Stargazer lilies (white with dark pink and very fragrant) and Tiger Lilies (orange with black spots and I don't think too fragrant). If I was going with Tiger Lilies I think I would have a really colourful bouquet and do kind of a tropical look and have my colours be red and purple or something to that effect and have lots of dark green foliage everywhere with lights strung throughout. On the other hand I like that the stargazer lilies are fragrant and I think I'd do my colours different shades of pink and since it's a night wedding anyway I think it would enhance the smell of the cut flowers and I definatly want tonnes of little white lights and then maybe I'd add some sparkle to it somehow. Maybe Im putting to much thought into it.

I vote for stargazers unless you have people attending that are EXTREMELY allergic to floral scents and pollen (although you can and should have the pollen staminas removed so as not ot stain anything)
One of my best friends is highly sensitive to scents (hairspray, deoderant ect...) it makes me much more aware of such things.

Stargazers have a bit more elegant look. Tiger lilies grow wild in many areas of the country, so they go really well with a more casual outdoor theme. But the fragrance of the stargazers can be a problem.
