It's in!!!!

My dress, that is. I'm so glad the shop called me today, I've had a bad week. But, here is a question....I, obviously, want to go tomorrow and try it on and feel pretty and princessy. However, my sister, mom, FSIL, cousin all have reasons they can't go. Mom, understandably, wants to see me in it. So should I wait until later on to go try it on? Or go tomorrow to make myself happy and go back later next week with mom?

Oh, and FH and I (and his parents) will be at the shop on Sat. to pick out and get measured for tuxes. What do you think?

Tough call... you dont want to be putting it on tooooo many times otherwise you risk getting "bored" with the princessy feeling... probably okay these two times though! once to pick you up... once to have everyone fawning over you

I would want someone with me when I tried it on for the first time. But if you try it on Sat. with your fmil will your mom be upset?

I can't do it sat. b/c FH will be there. And there's no place to really kick him out too, lol. And honestly....yeah, she'd probably get her panties in a bunch again. Blast it. I want pics of me and my dress....but I want someone to be there too. Gah.

Well, my throat won the battle and made me go home and sleep today. But, I will see it tomorrow, and (providing I'm feeling better) will go try it on Sunday or Monday. If I can make it until Monday, I'm going to try so mom can see it. But she said she's ok with pictures too...sometimes she surprises me, lol. Then again, I know my mom and she'll start crying...not sure I need tears on my dress already.

Sooo, I tried on my dress today. The good thing is...it's in, it's pretty, and it fits. Well, almost fits. If I loose more than five pounds (and that may be too much) it will be too big. I had really planned on working out at least, not necissarily losing weight. But now I'm afraid to.
Plus, my mom acted like she was in a bad mood and didn't want to be there. She didn't even get up off the bench when I came out of the dressing room. (There was a plant in her way, I don't know how she could have seen me clearly.) And then....my invites were sitting on my desk when I got home so I (obviously) looked at them before we left. Mom says, "I still can't believe you didn't put our names on it." My reply was that they weren't paying for it, and I felt that "together with their families" covered everything. My mother is really starting to grate on my nerves.....
Sorry, that last bit had nothing to do with the dress. I took pics, and have six more to use up and will get the film developed tomorrow. Pictures coming soon!

Did she know about the invites before the dress fitting--is that why she was so moody? I'm sorry to hear about that.

I don't know what the big deal about the parents names on the invite is. I knew my parents name would be on there just because they are paying for half. Mother more less made me put Kenny's mom name on there she said it wouldn't be nice if you don't. So I'm sorry she had to be a grouch about it. I can't wait to see pictures I'm sure it is great.

Yes, she did know, I had told her before when we were looking at invitations. It's just my mom....she's anal about stuff, I swear.
I did drop off my film today, but I got there too late to get the one hour developing. So tomorrow, there will be pics!
