Default A Sure Cure for Red-Eyes on Your Wedding Day

Try to avoid having your bachelor/bachelorette party the night before the wedding! We foolishly had my bachelor party the night before my wedding and I paid dearly! It was the only time that I had my friends from around the country all with me at one place ('cause they were in town for my wedding). Unfortunately, I only had two hours of sleep that night and was exhausted the next day - my wedding day! The excitement and adrenaline rush of my wedding fortunately kept me from collapsing. Of course, I enjoyed my wedding tremendously, but I might have enjoyed it more had I been well rested. Try to hold your bachelor/ette party a week to two weeks before.

Default "Tool Time" party

Submitted by Tammy from Ocean Springs MS

A tradition that we started for my neice's fiance 5 years ago -
he was sad that there were so many showers for the bride and nothing for
him. We gave him a "Tool Time" party - all men, they give gifts of tools
and garden tools/equipment. The guys love it. They eat manly food like
pizza and beer and they smoke cigars outside. It was a big hit and we've
done one for every man we know that is getting married.
