Alone-Time Before an Escorted Honeymoon Tour
Submitted by: Heather of North Plainfield, New Jersey

When planning our honeymoon, we found that a tour offered us the most for our money; but as honeymooners we wanted some "alone" time to relax. We opted for a 9-day tour through northeastern France that included airfare.

By simply requesting it (and availability of course) our tour company allowed us to fly into France 4 days early; and while they would only book hotel accommodations for the additional nights at their hotel, we were free to make our own accommodations for the extra nights and meet up with the tour when it started.

I found the ideal hotel. Now we'll be spending 4 days on our own in Paris in a room with a balcony that overlooks the Eiffel Tower. Four days to get used to being husband and wife in the most romantic city in the world... at a cost that would knock you off your feet!!!

Getting Married in Hawaii
Submitted by: M. Vradenburg of Blue Hawaii Weddings in Hawaii

Destination Weddings in Hawaii! Be well prepared when you have your destination wedding in Hawaii. Make sure that you have your marriage license appointment done at least 30 days prior to your arrival. Bring your driver's license and birth certificate with you to present to the marriage license agent. Applications can be mailed to you in advance, however, applications for a marriage license will not be accepted by marriage license agents through the mail. It must be done in person, in Hawaii. The fee is $25.00 cash paid to the marriage license agent. Also, public beach weddings are not "legal" in Hawaii. However, if the ceremony is performed on Hotel resort property, beachfront is legal. - Blue Hawaii Weddings
