Free Makeover Consultation
Submitted by: Cheryl Gabiola Galvez

A few months prior to your wedding day, evaluate several makeup consultants by taking advantage of their free makeover offers. If you are having a beauty consultant apply your makeup, you want to make sure he/she understands the needs of your skin as well as the look you want to achieve.

Hair Stylist
Submitted by: Cheryl Gabiola Galvez

As with a makeup consultant, you want to be sure you find a professional hair stylist a few months prior to your big day. Most hair salons offer a free consultation while offering advice on what hairdo works best with your face structure as well as your type of wedding dress. You may even want to pay for a complete hair style in the way you plan on having it for your wedding day. This will ensure that you will not be surprised at the very last minute.

Hair Spray
Submitted by: Cheryl Gabiola Galvez

To make sure you look your very best throughout the day and well into the night, consider carrying a trial size bottle of hair spray. A little spritz here and there will keep you looking fantastic!

Bring Your Veil
Submitted by: Cheryl Gabiola Galvez

On the day of your wedding, make sure you bring along your wedding veil to the hair salon. After the hair stylist grooms your tresses, he/she will be able to don your veil on your head and make sure your lovely locks are in place.

House Call
Submitted by: Cheryl Gabiola Galvez

For the sake of convenience, you may want to consider hiring a beauty consultant to do your hair and/or makeup at your residence. There may be a price differential but the difference in price may not be too much of a burden considering the time and effort you'll save.

All Together Now
Submitted by: Cheryl Gabiola Galvez

Consider having the same hair salon work on you as well as your entire bridal party. Having your female attendants there will not only give you the support you'll need in the few hours before you walk down the aisle but provide several honest opinions.

Teeth Whitening Treatments
Submitted by: Sammy of Santa Cruz

Your wedding day will be filled with happy moments as well as Kodak™ ones. Consider taking a trip to the dental hygienist some time within the last few weeks. Call your dentist and ask about their whitening treatments.

Prevent Shiny Faces
Submitted by: Heather of Dover, Ohio

Make sure to carry powder with you. I don't know how many people I've heard complain that when they got there wedding pictures back, there faces were shiny. So, carry some pressed powder with you for those Kodak moments. Also for eyes, a good pick me up is white eyeliner on the bottom rim of your eye. It's an old model's trick that opens the eyes up more.

Preventing Puffy Fingers
Submitted by: Alison of Chicago, Illinois, USA

If your fingers tend to get a little puffy when you're nervous or it's humid, then right before you get out of the limo, before the ceremony, rub a little petroleum jelly or clear lip balm onto the knuckle of your ring finger. This will ensure that your groom can slide the ring right onto your finger without a hassle! Just be careful not to touch your dress.

Talk To Your Stylist About Possible Discounts
Submitted by: Stephanie of San Antonio, Texas, USA

I may be the lucky bride-in-a-million but there's a chance you can be just as lucky. I've been going to the same hair stylist for several years and he offered to do my hair for the bridal portraits and wedding day FREE when I told him I wanted him to do my entire bridal party. He's not only doing my hair free, he's giving me a discount on the rest of the girls. Talk to your stylist, if he's your regular stylist, to see if you can get a deal like this. It will not only be a great suprise for your attendants, but I think it will be fun too!

nice article! thanks for sharing, and i have 3 tips to add:

Before Your Special Day
Getting plenty of beauty sleep is the secret to not only how you will look on your wedding day, but how you will feel. This doesn't mean just the night before you get married -- it means the entire week.
While planning on beauty rest and getting your beauty rest are two different things, make it a priority to get a full night's sleep, every night. Keep any daytime naps to a minimum so they don't interfere with your ability to get that nighttime shut-eye.
Pamper yourself every night with a warm bubble bath before bed. Get out the candles and wine if necessary to set a relaxing atmosphere. Turn on the answering machine to field phone calls and ask family members not to be disturbed.
Your mind may be racing, so keep a notepad on your nightstand so you can jot down ideas and to-dos, so it won't keep you awake at night. Just knowing you won't forget the small stuff will give you piece of mind.
Eat healthy and choose your foods carefully in the days leading up to your wedding. Avoid any foods known to cause bloating and gas. Now is not the time for a crash diet. Just be sensible and you won't sacrifice your health over a couple of extra pounds.

Personal Attendants
Make sure you choose a trusted friend or relative to be your personal attendant. She will be a key player in your sanity and can carry along a larger handbag to store essentials like a spare pair of panty hose, tissue, needle and thread, make-up, hairspray and Tylenol.
Bottled water may not sound good now, but will definitely save your makeup if your facility has drinking fountains. Prepare your personal attendant's list ahead of time -- so your not left at the altar without lipstick and other essentials.

Odds-N-Ends
Your hands will be in many pictures so don't forget a manicure. Have it done professionally the day before your wedding.
Your fragrance should be light and romantic. Don't apply any directly to your dress. Even with dry cleaning, it could leave a permanent stain.

hope these will help u! if u want to know more tips on health&beauty, here are some other articles!
