Default I want Peony's!

Am I going crazy or do I just have to much time to think? I have never liked roses so why am I having a rose bouquet? I know I don't want white peony's they are never really white most of the time they are Ivory. Plus I don't want it to blend in with my dress. If I chose to go with peony's do I have to changed the boutonnieres to peony's?

Before you go crazy about this make sure their even in season when your having your wedding I read they have like a 4-6 week window in the spring. Also not all varieties come in red... the really full ones don't which are the ones I truly love.
But the other varieties are pretty too and I like you am not crazy about roses, but will probably be using them.

To add I don't think the boutonneires need to match just coordinate.

The boutonnieres don't necessarily have to match.

I don't think the bouts have to match, but they usually use one or two of the flowers that is being used in the BMs bouquets for a consistent look. Will the BMs have peonys, too? Or will it just be your bouquet?

I love peonies...but I thought there were going to be tulips, not roses... Anyway, I think as long as there is some consistency between the BM bouquets and the bouts the bride can have a different bouquet. Maybe give Kenny a bout to match you?

I love peonies........ mine are barely up yet! around here you are looking at a may to early june window......... If I would have amrried in spring I may have thought of peonies or lilacs........ Beuatiful flowers..... let us know and no I don't think the men's would have to match...... just look good together..

Peonies are too big to serve as boutonierres. You need a smaller diameter blossom. Be sure to ask your florist about keeping the peonies hydrated. They wilt quickly, as do tulips.
