Default Help!

Ok, ordering invitations now. Yay. But....here's my question.
Which way should I word the corner copy?

Adult reception immediately
following ceremony
American Legion

or

Reception following ceremony
American Legion

or some other form I haven't thought of?

Are you having children attend the ceremony, if their not attending either, it should be implied that its an adult reception on the inner envelope by not addressing them to children,
Such as:

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

instead of:

Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Charlie Ben and Carrie

at least thats what I understand.

No, there won't be any children at the ceremony either. Or if there are, it will only be four of them, and I'm close to their parents so we can discuss that. But I am going to address the inner envelopes to Mr. and Mrs. X. Hopefully my family will 1) get the point and 2) hear by word of mouth that there's no kids.

What I did was include "Adult reception to follow immediately." in the left corner copy of the invite. So, my invitation looked like this: (I can't remember exact wording so bear with me.)

Heather & Michael (in big fancy script)

Request the honor of your presence as they begin their life together
87 Smith Drive
Albany New York
at
5:30PM

Reception (Same location as ceremony)
87 Smith Drive
Albany New York

Adult Reception to Follow

-------------------
I also wanted to say that once parents see the "Adult Reception" they usually get the hint. That combined with leaving out the child(s) name on the envelope should do the trick. I also made sure to tell a few friends so that word would get around. I had a lot of out of town friends who relished the night alone together so I was thanked a lot during the reception, lol.

Can I add that I had everything filled out how I wanted it, the number of each item, etc. I hit submit order...and got "Yahoo browser has experienced a problem and needs to close." Grrrrr. So I am going to try again now....let's hope it works this time.

Default Woot Woot!

I got it done! Yaaaay!!! Now, one thing I can definitely cross off the list, invitations for both ceremony and reception are bought. Sweetness.
And here it is.

Whoo hoo! It feels good doesn't it? I'm happy for you girl - you're on a roll now and it won't stop until the honeymoon.

Ok, I don't know why the picture is so small and I make it bigger. I'm done trying. So if you have any tips, send'em my way. Otherwise, if you want to see a full size, PM me and I'll PM you the link. Gah!

Another thing to take off your list of "things to do."

Yay! They came in today. They're spiffy...and bonus that the R.S.V.P envelopes are printed free of charge with my addy.
