Default Mini DVD Favor

At most weddings these days, the bride and groom will have a Video Slideshow based on pictures of their childhood. What if you had that video replicated on to a Mini-Dvd (Full size DVD would be ok, but mini anything is always cuter) and had your own DVD Jacket with the wedding date on it?

That would be a spectacular gift for your guests.

Breezy,
This was not a post selling anything, just an idea. Therefore it should be just fine.

We actually took a vote on something similar to this. The general agreement was that unless it's the parents or grandparents of the bride or groom, no one wants pictures of you from when you're little...and they don't really want pictures from your adulthood either. There were a good handful of people who felt otherwise (we were talking about framed pictures of the B & G in the discussion), but the majority of people think that's not something they want as a "gift" as they felt they would never use it, and the B&G wasted money on them.

From a business standpoint, I'm sure you get a lot of people who want to do it though. We analyze everything down to the core here.

It's an ad.

Also - you can do these yourself for a fraction of the cost. Don't pay anyone to do this for you.

Those are some good points cru5h. In the video slideshow at our wedding, we had many pictures incorporated of not just us but us with our friends/family growing up. While we didn't give it as a favor, most of our friends and family ended up requesting a copy after the wedding, to which we generously obliged.

So, it just depends on who designs the Video Slideshow, and what sort of pictures/video go into it.

I am blown away at your prices. I had a video montage at my rehearsal dinner that cost me less than $10. A friend did it for me with shareware and it was beautiful.

Everyone - don't waste your time with this business. It's a rip-off. It's so easy to do yourself.
