Default Send me hugs

I'm so sick.

It started yesterday with a headache bordering on a migraine so I laid down for a few minutes and actually fell asleep for over an hour. I woke up when Mike got home from work and I didn't feel that bad. Then I woke up at 3am nauseous, dizzy, stuffed up and sneezing like crazy. In fact Mike told me I woke him up b/c I sneezed right in face - twice.

What didn't help is that we haven't properly figured out the thermostat in the new house. It was 50 degrees in here with cold air blowing through the vents. The heat and the central air are both controlled from one panel so we had it majorly screwed up. Mike "fixed" it around 6 or 7am.

I'm actually not even working today which is rare for me. I'm still checking work e-mail but told everyone I'm ill. It's so rare for me to take a sick day because it's rare for me to be so sick I'm literally down for count.

Send me hugs! I hate being sick!

Thank you.

Mike's bringing me some ginger ale on his lunch break. I can't even get dressed right now let alone get in my car and drive. ugh.

Going back to bed.

I hope you feel better soon. Getting sick sucks! (Try saying "sick sucks" really fast five times - maybe that will make you feel better! )

Hugs to you. I know what it's like to feel like crap, and I don't envy you one bit right now (except that you're at home).

Thank you everyone! LJ that is funny & cute - ty!

I'm up and down all day today. I feel like crap but I feel even worse just laying in bed being woozy. I'm holding down ginger ale and iced tea so this is a good thing.

MTGH - The house is definitely toastier, but I have wicked chills, I'm wrapped in my jammies, (flannel bottoms), a t-shirt, sweatshirt and on top of that my black fuzz bathrobe. Oh, and I can't forget my favorite thick fuzzy socks. I'm literally shivering and just can't get warm. If I wasn't in the middle of painting the bathroom I would hop in a hot tub. Not going to happen yet though.

I felt kinda like that yesterday and a little bit today, I called my FMIL to watch the baby so I could rest, and she thought I was pregnant. I was clammy and dizzy and nauseous and every muscle in my body ached, very unfun, fortunately it didn't last long, so maybe yours won't either. Feel better hun.

Thanks all. Cirig I love cake! I'll split it with ya though.

I'm starting to feel a little better. I just took my first bath even though the bathroom isn't done yet - I couldn't wait. I have to say I don't like my tub. It drains water very lightly when the tub is full and that's a huge pet peeve of mine. I have to cover it with something or the noise will drive me crazy.

Something else for the home-depot list! I think we own half of that freakin' store now.

Oh Heather, get better fast.

The house can wait, it will still be there so don't worry about it at all!

Don't be silly - I'm feeling better already!

Thanks Kim, and you're right - the house can wait. Lord knows it's not going anywhere.

I hope you feel better really soon . FH's son woke up at 5:30 this morning with the same symptoms you described, so he missed school today. FH and I both had to work so he got to spend the day with his grandma, just too bad he was throwing up all day, poor kid. It must be bad cuz he never misses school...and if your home sick too, yeah, it must be bad! I hope your back to your old self asap!!!
