Wearing white....
As far as wearing white to another's wedding....how does it go? I know that you shouldn't be wearing all white, but is some white ok? I'm having major wardrobe issues and I have a wedding to attend tomorrow. I was thinking, ok, I'll wear my nice dress pants (black) and a nice blouse (white). But then I thought....am I not supposed to wear white at all? (On a side note, the bride will not give a rat's ass what I'm wearing-she's not into that stuff.)
HELP!!!!

I think black pants and a white shirt will be fine. You just may look like a waitress.

I think it sounds fine too. An all white dress would be one thing but the white blouse sounds ok to me.

As far as I know, wearing white is okay, as long as you're obviously not trying to look like the bride (i.e. add a brightly colored scarf of something).

You would be fine in that. I like the idea of wearing a cute scarf to add color.

I've worn all white (offwhite) to a wedding. I don't think anyone was paying attention to the lone guest on the groom's side who worn an ecru dress. Seriously, unless you're wearing all white AND it's fancy, no one is going to notice.

No you evil woman you can't wear a white blouse!
Should be fine, it's not like you're in all white. The only way I wouldn't want someone in white at mine is if it was completely top to toe white and they were going to be in the group photographs.
