Default Meeting with our minister tonight

Hey guys,
My fiance and I are meeting with our minister tonight that will be performing the ceremony. I think that we are going to talk wedding I hope that we start to talk about how we want the ceremony to flow and what things will be included. I am looking forward to tonight.

A little bit of info...
The minister that is performing the ceremony for us was our College Minister at our campus group that we were a part of when we first started dating. I met Erik through this group so Matt(the minister) has been able to see us grow as a couple for the last two and a half years. I think that it is reallly cool that we found a minister that knows both of us well. We used to spend a lot of time with Matt and his wife, until life got in the way. Erik and I got to a point where we were done with the college ministry thing. We still talk to them quite a bit though and Matt was thrilled that we asked him to be in the wedding. I am excited about how the ceremony will turn out.

Danielle

How exciting for you. I have to say that my wedding planning truly felt "real" when we first met with the ceremony officiant.

I think it's great that you're going to be married by someone who really knows both of you and your relationship Kind of similar thing happened at Misty's wedding (Clairon13) It was a family friend that married them & she said it was really special having someone who knew them so well perform such an important role.

Hope the meeting goes well! Will you find out what you have to choose? I mean how many hymns/ readings etc.

That'll be so special. Be sure he personalizes it with stuff he knows about you and how he's seen your love grow! There won't be a dry eye in the house!

My officiant is my boss, who I'm pretty close to, as is Tom. I couldn't be happier with the person who is going to perform our wedding. I really love and respect my boss.

Danielle, looking forward to hearing how your meeting went, hope it was great!

The meeting went great. He talked to us about our relationship so he could know where we stand and how things are going. Then we talked about aspects of the ceremony that we would want to take place. He gave us copies of some other weddings that he has done so that we could look over them and kind of get an idea of what we would want. This makes everything seem so real now!
