Hi I'm new here
Hi my name is Trudy , I live in Fayetteville North Carolina and I'm gettting married June 17th. This will be my 3 marriage but 1rst wedding. I really want it to be special. We (my fiance and myself) are bikers. We own 11 bikes but our favorite is our 67' electra glide, we ride whenever we get the chance no matter what the weather.
We are planning a biker style wedding and going to have a pig pickin' reception with a live band and fireworks display.
I am in sort of a pickle right now because I wanted to get the Harley Davidson cake topper to go on our cake but can't seem to find one. The black and orange one that is.
Our color themes are going to be of course black and orange Harley colors.
He is going to wear black jeans and dressy shirt and his biker vest along with his best man. My maid of Honour is wearing a periwinkle blue gown and I am wearing a White , yes I said WHITE wedding dress. With no train, no veil. I will be having my hair, which goes to my hips down and have roses and ribbons braided into it.
If anyone has any suggestions or advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ~Trudy

Welcome Trudy.
I don't think I have ever seen a Harley cake topper. Have you thought of designing your own? Perhaps even with a scale model of your favorite bike?
Again Welcome! I look forward to hearing about your wedding plans and how things go!

 Welcome to Pash!
Have you tried Harley stores for something you could use as a cake topper? Or e-bay?

Hi Trudy!
Welcome to Pash! I've looked for the Harley Cake Topper and this was the best one I could find, but it's not exactly what you were looking for. It's white and I know your looking for orange and black.

The best thing I can think of would be to go to a hobby store where they sell Harley modles. That way you can paint it any colour you want. And decorate it any way you like. Good luck on finding what your looking for!

Hi, Trudy...
Welcome to PASH! If I may ask, what is a pig pickin' reception? I've never heard of that before. Thanks for joining and if I can be of any service, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks!

Hi there Trudy. Welcome to Pash! Have you tried your local Harley stores. The ones up here have them I know. At least they did the last time I went into a Harley store. If not, I think E-bay is the best choice!!

A pig pickin' is basically I guess a southern thing It is when a group of people get together and cook a pig pig on a cooker, have kegs of beer, live band and just throw down lol. Thank you everyone for all your tips a couple have shown to work out good for me.

Hi Trudy! Welcome to Pash!
I remember when I was looking for a topper, I had come across Harley toppers, so I did a quick search.
http://www.magicalday.com/harley-dav...e-toppers.html
And this place custom-designs toppers (they showed a biker topper which seems to be done from a photograph): http://www.thumbprintkids.com/

Sure come on down to nc and you can join us. It is open invitation ... We finally decided on our honeymoon. We are leaving the day after (cuz we will probably be too wasted after the pig pickin') and we are going towards the mountains and staying at a nice motel and going to visit The Harley Davidson Museum and some other local attractions. That's if I can get him out of the room much..LOL

Cool. Just booked my airline ticket.
Sounds like you're going to have a great time. My husband and I booked our honeymoon for two days after the wedding because we knew we would be hungover and exhausted. The day after the wedding we drove to Jersey and stayed in a honeymoon suite (yes, in Jersey, lol) and then flew out the next morning for the Bahamas. We were both relieved to have that one day and night to relax and enjoy what happened at the wedding.

NC is a beautiful place.
We drove to Burlington WA (From Independence Oregon to Burlington WA)after getting married. A long trip made in a fraction of the time cause Bob was driving above the speed limit! He was all excited I guess. Anyway we spent the first night in a suite there and then left for Orcas the next day.

We were at the Marriot at the airport. It was actually a really nice hotel with a few weddings going on the night we were there.
