how would I address??
I am having a Medieval wedding. It is not fancy, I have a very simple dress and the guys have kilts and a tunic. the guest list is about 70 people.
I made the invites myself, here is the question, how would I address them. there is the envelope, the invite, the RSVP, and the fun info stuff. So there is NO inner envelope.
So say to an aunt & uncle with kids, how would I address that? Would it be the (lol using fake name) John Smith Family? Or Mr and Mrs. John Smith? or to John and Jane Smith family?
I know it sounds stupid. I am sorry. I just really have no clue

Aw that's not stupid. I don't have the answer though I would guess that it would be addressed to The Smith Family. But that's just a guess.
Welcome to the forums, by the way!

I believe it would be addressed to the Smith Family so that they know that kids and adults are all invited. If it was just to adults it would John and Jane Smith.
Welcome to Pash!

I started on my list last night! I did it MR. & Mrs. John Smith and Family. This works even if they have children with out the same last name.

one more question, can I write the address in my normal handwriting? I had not been able to find anyone to do anything fancy locally for a price I could afford (we are on a very small budget).

I'm having a friend of my sisters do mine from college. I have crazy hand writing. But it is fine if you do it your self. The only time I received a invite that was hand done was a big fancy wedding.

My printer is smudging things (even after my nerd* cleaned it) so I do not trust it, and I have to get them out tomorrow at latest. lol I am so bad. But I have just started a new job and had crazy hours for a bit and well, there is no one I can trust to do them. The MOG would say yes and never do it and lost them...... My mom is to busy, and my friends.... well, I do nto really have many and they are all to busy. lol
But It shall be me then. lol Mine is decent.. Not girly and pretty, but you can read it easily.
Thank you!
*calling him a nerd in the most loving way
And now we shall anger the great 18# Bwca. He is in my lap and will have to move so I can write... lol Poor, poor kitty.....
