Default flower colours

It's been a long time since I asked a wedding related question, but I'm starting back on the basic planning, so yay for questions!
My girls (and bridesman) are wearing black. DJ's groomsmen are wearing blacks suits with silver vests. What colour flowers would you suggest? I'm planning on carrying blood red roses, so no red. Our wedding colours are black, blue and silver.

Default flower colors

I've had a lot of brides in the past order blue hydrangeas with white stephanotis or white roses ....all white callas....there's a lot of choices with that colour theme...white roses...something simple will be really classy with that theme.

Blue hydrangeas is exactly what I was thinking, too. I think the bouquet Lovici describes would be gorgeous!!

Lol, that's funny, cuz that was the same thing I was thinking. I didn't want to reply cuz I thought I was being biased...we're having hydrangeas too! Only difference is that ours will be more purple than blue, but we'll have some blue too.

I would recommend sticking with iovry or white plus foliage.

I think the white of you dress, plus the red of your flowers, together with blue for them might look a bit too USA for my taste, a bit ott. Just my

I'd also advice against picking a colour that the flower doesn't naturally come in because I hate that! Not that you have to chose your flowers based on what I hate (like blue roses!)

I've got a couple of ideas...

This is two views of the same flowers:

Or how about some black calla lilies?

It also would depend on whether you wanted to used fresh flowers or artificial and whether you want a structured or more free-form design. Do you know if you want your bouquet in and particular style apart from red roses?

I'm going to have a hunt to see if I can find my *favourite* red rose bouquet for you... I've always adored the fully blown ones with the huge blooms, I always thought that's what I'd have for my flowers... Why did I cange my mind again???
