gloomy what IS this?

ok, I have to ask if anyone else is dealing with this weird bug, it's driving me nuts!!!

On Friday, I woke up with a funky, unpleasant feeling in my throat. By noon, I was having chills, congestion, nausea & achyness all over. Yesterday, I felt much better, although I still was too nauseous to have dinner. Now today I'm extremely nauseated and battling a migraine, with chills on top. I feel like I'm going crazy! (and no, I'm not preggo, I'm in the middle of AF)

Anyone else get this bug?

Sorry, babe... I don't have it. I've been lucky so far this year (knocking on wood).

I hope you feel better soon!

Ew if it's the flu - I've never had it before so I can't tell ya. Doesn't sound like anything I know of offhand, but I hope you're feeling better soon

You know what? I DID get something similar. I didn't get nauseous, but if you substitute headache and lack of appetite for your nausea, it was the same thing. I felt HORRID -- chills, weakness, congestion, aches and a funky throat, then much better except for a lingering headache and I didn't feel like eating, than got slammed again. I just got it in the beginning of the week and I've felt basically fine the past 2 days, so I *think* it's over with now.

I had that a couple of weeks ago. It was going around at work. It started off with a sore throat, than BAM, full on flu like symptoms. Mine lasted a couple of days. Hopefully you are feeling better! Being sick sucks!

DS has been dealing with a similar bug the last few days also. Barely can hold anything down!! Even breast milk. DH thought he was getting sick. I feel funky from being preggo but it could be the bug also but nothing besides a headache.

thanks, you guys! I hate feeling so cruddy, it's hard to take care of the baby or hang out with the guys when all I feel like doing is curling into a ball under the covers. And I'm SO cold... grrrr, the Thermostat Nazi's gonna get kicked somewhere soft if he doesn't stop turning down the heat!

This is such an odd combination of symptoms for me, I just wanted to be a little bit of a crybaby. LOL I'm surviving on potato bread rolls today.

Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well.

Luckily, I haven't really gotten sick this year, though I did have a terrible migraine Friday that unfortunately came on RIGHT BEFORE I was going to my son's basketball game. Nothing's worse than a migraine in a bright, smelly gym with a bunch of screaming fans!

My little niece has been really sick (vomiting, not keeping anything down, etc.). Hopefully, it's just something going around, but the doctor can't find anything specifically wrong with her.

How are you feeling today?
