I am getting married for the third time. Gosh that sounds terrible doesn't it? LOL

The first marriage was when I was 19 and pregnant. Got married because I was pregnant and it lasted all of 3 months. I honestly don't consider that a marriage but I guess technically it is.

Second marriage lasted 8 long, abusive years. Need I say more?

Sweetheart and I know that we are going to get married someday - the engagement isn't "official" because I don't have the ring yet (money issues) and he hasn't proposed but I am gleaning ideas from everywhere anyway.

I have two daughters ages 17 and 9 from my first marriages, he has no children. We want to have a quiet ceremony and reception with just our immediate family members totally about 17 people. I want to have the wedding that I never got to plan - my first was an elopement, the second was taken over by the ex and what HE wanted. Both were rushed. This one I can take all kinds of time to plan everything.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome to Pash!

And for the record, it does not sound horrible! Anytime someone is happy and in love, it sounds great to me. Congratulations on the direction things are going for you. I'm looking forward to hearing all about your plans and engagement as it comes together!
