Popularly Used Wedding Favors

How are you all? With many of the favor stores selling much the same lines in terms of wedding favors it is possible that you could one day find yourself receiving the very same favors you dished out at your own wedding. But the fact is the favor stores would not sell them if they were not popular amongst brides.
So what types of wedding favors prove themselves to be eternally popular? Here is a quick run down:
* Edibles - always a favorite and favors such as candies and chocolates will always be a popular favor. If you are after favors with a traditional feel then almonds would be the most appropriate choice, however these are not to everyone's taste so candy and chocolate versions have become the favored substitute. Cheap and easy to package edible wedding favors will always reign supreme!
* Candles - these seem to fit with just about any wedding style and theme. Indeed many stores will carry a range of themed designs from Cinderella's slipper to whimsical snowmen. Plain white or ivory votive candles are perfect for the ultra-traditional wedding, whilst tea lights in pretty holders are inexpensive and can be designed to fit with any type of wedding.
* Photograph frames - these have the added advantage of being able to double up as place card holders, although you may need to make it obvious that they are wedding favor also! From simple classic styles to ornate themed designs, photograph frames add a touch of luxury to tables and can always find pride of place somewhere in your guests' homes.
* Flower seeds - with so many weddings taking place in late spring or summer, flower and plant seeds have found themselves propelled up the popularity ladder when it comes to wedding favors. They do provide a versatility that you don't get with many other favors, particularly as you can choose the seed varieties to match your wedding flowers or to compliment in some other way. Eco conscious brides are also choosing seeds over other favors and it is not uncommon to find herb garden kits, or organic vegetable seeds appearing on reception tables. Favor stores also a good line in plantable cards which are embedded with seeds and are made from biodegradeable paper - all your guests need to do is pop them in the ground. I wonder how many actually do though.
* Bottle stoppers - stylish chrome bottle stoppers add a real hint of luxury to your reception tables, particularly if you lay them out on each place setting and avoid any fussy packaging. You will find a wide range of designs in favor stores so they are easy to coordinate to most weddings. They are useful too which cannot be said for many wedding favors, so if you are looking for something which you guests may genuinely appreciate receiving, bottle stoppers are a great choice.
