OMG! I'm getting hitched in a week!!!
Well it is past midnight now so....I shall be getting married to my darling Christopher on Valentine's Day which is a mere week away!
I highly recommend doing it this way ladies! A civil ceremony. No reception. 5 guests! LOL. I'm feeling a little sad that my Mom won't be there BUT we will do it properly when I get to Mizzoura, God knows when! With the dress and tux and family and all that good stuff!
There are more details in my "Planetclaire" thread..lots of views , not many posts...sniff..sniff...sniff....
I can't wait to marry my guy! I never thought the words "husband" and/or "wife" were sexy until now!!!

Sadly, we still have to wait for me to get the "Come on in" invite from USICS ( INS). It's awful being apart! I can't take too much more of it! Red tape! All over the place!

They don't tell you! That's the problem! I can stay 6 months if I like. The problem is that I have my 2 furry babies and I'm going to be moving all my furniture and stuff there so it's complicated! I don't have anyone who could "foster parent" the girls or I'd put the furniture in storage! I'm certainly not giving them away. They're family!!
Chris is staying with his folks for now (since his divorce) until we get a place. If I leave here I'll lose my insurance which is paying for my leave of absence and I couldn't work there until I can get my papers. Chris doesn't make enough to support us both at the moment.
We were talking about him coming here for a while until the paperwork clears but he has a daughter and doesn't want to be away from her for a long period of time.
So we wait....and thank God for my unlimited minutes for $29 a month long distance plan!!

Thats a lot of stuff to get through. I hope it don't take to long to get it done. I love my unlimited long distance through AT&T I have it on my cell also but my cell don't reach out good here. As soon as we move this summer I will disconnect my long distance and just use my cell.

This week will just fly by for you.
Here's to hoping that you get through the red tape (relatively) quickly.
