gloomy Is this a danger signal?

My partner to be won't give me any feedback; "Anything you want is fine", and then today said her budget was too tight to start saving for the ceremony. she keeps asking if i've called anyone for prices, but I can't call anyone until i have a firm idea of what to do. any thing she does give an opinion on is that everything costs too much or is too extravagant.

the stupid thing is, we've been together 16 years and had a commitment ceremony in '97, and she won't even tell me if she wants to keep any elements from that ceremony.

Am I in trouble, here?

Default Danger Signal

How invested is she in doing the ceremony at all? It doesn't sound like she's involved at all then is giving you mixed messages about it. That sounds confusing and I can understand why you'd be scratching your head and saying, "huh?"

I would sit her down and try to figure out if this is what she wants in the first place as her behavior doesn't really demonstrate that.
