Hello fellow canuck! Welcome!

It certainly is an exciting time! I am fortunate also that my FH is interested in the planning and brings ideas and suggestions to the table- which is very much appreciated!

Mine is avoiding most of the plans like they'll give him the plague

To be fair I've got so many opinions on the arrangements that he'd find it hard to get a look in anyway

So what are your plans boo? You having a little wedding? Have you any particular style or colours in mind?

Thank you both for the huge welcome!

I was hoping to have a small wedding but that doesn't always work out. Right now we are sitting at approx. 126 ppl. I'm having an outdoor wedding in my parents back year back in Ontario. So we will have a big tent! The colours we went with are hunter green and silver.

What about you two what do you have planned for your weddings?

Hope to hear back soon!

We were only supposed to have 30 ppl at ours but it creeped up to 55! And then 100 for the evening reception...

I've tried hard to keep our colour scheme pretty simple, so it's ivory and black. Both my FH & I wear black all the time so didn't want to have this really colourful wedding, we decided to go with something more 'us'...

We're getting married in our local RC Chapel, and our reception is in a local hotel.

We've tried to keep it as small as possible because we really can't afford to have it any other way!

Have you got a big bridal party? What is going to be Hunter and what's silver?

555Ann555,

I know what you mean about trying to make it small I was hoping for only 100ppl but as you seen that has grown now.

Ivory and black that sounds really sharp, must tell me how you are setting everything up. Sounds like a very romantic and charming wedding, I'm sure you will have a wonderful day.

I have a very small bridal party, I have my Sister and my Fh's Sister on my side and oh his side he as his bro and my bro, we are keeping it all in the family... As for the hunter its the colour of the girls dresses, napkins and trees in the background lite up with lights be hind the head table. The silver is the accent colour, I've tied the bouquets with silver ribbon, our invitations were done in both colours.

You need to go to photobucket.com. It will give you directions there on how to upload pictures. Then you cut and paste the image link into your post. Can't wait to see your pictures!!

Thank you...I love lizards and I was thinking of a way I could incorporate it into my wedding so I thought this was a good way. To add to that my FH and I are going to make our own cake topper which will be two lizards kissing and hopefully have their tails shaped into a heart..Work in progress.

That's cute. Do lizards have a special significance?

Sorry all for the long delay, I have been so busy at work, trying to get things organized for our Buck and doe and the wedding...Oh and having some problems with the soon to be family-in-law, lets just say I was about to call the whole thing off and said lets elope , but I have calmed down a bit since then...Although the whole situations still makes me sad... Sorry for complaining.

Anyways back to the question, no the lizards do not have a special significance, I just love them, well really only material lizards, I don't own a live one and never will...

The lizard cake topper is coming a long almost done then I will take a picture and show all of you!

Hello again Boo!

I want to see a photo of the cake topper when it is finnished! It sounds really cute.

And I wouldn't worry about venting about your FILs I think most of us have been on here to do that once or twice the girls here are great when you just need to let it all out!

I'm glad it is all coming together for you, have you got much more ticked off your to do list now?

Hi Ann,

Thanks for that! You girls are the best!! This place really does help you out when you need someone...Its great really.

Actually I don't have that much off my to do list. All I can check off now is the gift registry, decorations are all in order and fh's aunt is going to do it all for us and the only other thing I have done was getting the gifts for the bm's. I still have more to go but its slowly coming together!

You must be almost all done, yours is coming up so fast, you must be so excited!

Yes, I posted all my invites on friday

I can't believe how quickly it has come around. Honestly it feels like maybe a week or two ago that I had the same time to go on my ticker that you have now!

I've been working on my gift registries the last couple of days and I've gotten 3 rsvps back already!

So what did you get your BMs?
