Duggars Wedding on TLC
Did you all see the oldest Duggar get married on TLC? Can you believe that they didn't kiss?

Yeah I watched it. While it doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, if that's part of their belief system to never kiss or be alone together before their wedding, good for them. It hurts no one but them, so I don't understand the uproar over it (not here, but on other sites I've seen.)

Yea they did kiss at the ceremony just not b-4 the wedding. I've been following the show for a few years now. I love how they have raised there kids to have so much respect for there self and others. I do have a few problems with how they live but to each there own.

I just watched it last night. I thought it was sweet how the dad was giving the groom the birds and the bees talk right before the wedding. He gave him a book and was trying to explain things. He said it was basically like legos. I thought that was a cute way to put it.
I did have to laugh out loud when the bride's dad was talking about how the wedding was designed to transfer authority from him to the new husband. DH was laughing that he was sad my dad didn't say that.

I watched it on TV, but I'm sure they'll repeat it at some point. I haven't seen it online yet unfortunately.

I don't even know which show you all are talking about, but I agree with Ciarrai regarding the fact that who cares if a couple has never kissed before they got married? While I could not possibly marry someone that I'd never even kissed, it doesn't hurt me if people do that, so who cares?

I didn't watch, but this was actually a hot topic last time I hung out with my in-laws because they all LOVE that show.
Like Ciarrai and Feb, I couldn't care less that they didn't kiss. I have actually known people who did that, also. It wasn't a decision I made for my life or my relationship, but I can respect what other people set as their personal boundaries.
On a personal note, their waiting to kiss makes our decision to wait on sex look downright "normal"!
