Welcome to Pash!
We too are planning a looong engagement (although we haven't set a date) thinking 2008-2009 so that he can finish school and we can relax and really enjoy our honeymoon!

Default thanks.

well my fh & i met through one of his friends. i was a senior & he was a sophmore. we talked online like every night and talked at school. we were hanging out around valentines day at his friends house. htey were having a bonfire. he was so sweet. i was cold so he put his arm around me. it was the cutest thing. a couple of days later we were moving some things for my mom using my graps truck. he sat in the middle and was putting his arm around me. his friend was like so are you two going out? i said "i don't know. are we" and he said "i dont know. i guess so" and i said yeah. it just took off from there. Feb 17 marks our anniversary. going on 2 years. it was hard with the opposition i faced from my friends and family but it all worked out. the hardest part was the semester i went away for school (4.5 hrs away). but we made it through (and ran up a $500 cell phone bill ). come this october he's going to school about an hour or hour & a half away. luckily he'll have 3 day weekends.

we got engaged in september. it was cute because he went online and translated his proposal into german (we have this thing b/c he likes the german band Rammstein and his gram is from germany). i had to go online to translate it back but i had an idea of what it said b/c the last word was "heiraten" which i know "heirate mich" means marry me.

You definitely brought back high school memories--isn't how they all start? That's sweet. Congratulations.

Hello and welcome to Pash!

I love the engagement story. That was too cute that you had to go online to translate it.

Aw that's such a sweet story! and hello

My FH likes Rammstein too, though I can't say they do much for me... They're supposed to put on a fantastic show at thier gigs though... Has he ever seen them?
