Does this work?
So here's what I'm thinking for flowers....roses and cala lilies (or lily of the valley....the smaller ones). Would they look ok together? In almost everything I've seen the bride's boquet is all roses or cala lilies. I don't know if those are the timeless ones or just popular right now. But I figured since I'm throwing a few non-traditional things in, I can afford to be traditional with the flowers. And to be honest, there are just so many choices that I was going bonkers. The other big question....what color? Lol, the BMs will be in navy, so I'm not sure if I want to go pastel or bold. Help!

You're a busy bee planning these days!!
From what I have seen of calla lillies they seem to be presented mostly with long stems and sort of cradled in the bride's arms or as a tall/long bouquet. I think the calla is alot more bold than the rose. So I don't really see them together myself.
I am in no way affiliated with her or her site but lovici has a beautiful bouquet of burgundy/wine coloured callas on her website- I think that would be really pretty together with the navy dresses and yours.
I'd go bold more than pastel somehow. I think they might just fade into the background compared to bright, bold flowers.

I have always liked cream with navy. I'm using Roses and Tulips but I think Lilly's would be just as nice.

I would go bold rather than pastel. If you want roses, do deep red with the navy and that would match the calla lillies beautifully. (If I'm thinking of the right lily.) Pastel is too "cutesy" for me, just a personal preference, but with Navy - I would stick to the deep jewel colors - deep red or burgundy, forest green, etc.

Oh, I've seen them together and they're so beautiful! I think I saw the pic in Martha Stewarts wedding magazine. I'll try to find one for you online.

I've seen the smaller cala lilies in a clutch type bouquet....I think with roses it would be beautiful...and I think I would stick to darker colors as well...

I've got pictures!!!!
Ok ladies, here's some rough ideas with the roses and calla lilies.
This is kind of a sprial...we also have silver thingys to put in it too, my BM was thinking of winding it around the same way.

This would be the BM version of it.
This one has orchids added to it.

This one is just gathered.

And a round version.
These would most likely be fuller, we just bought a few to play around with to get an idea of styles. And check out my bouqet holder I found.
So tell me your thoughts!!!

I love the bracelet/holder. I like the round version, but would make it fuller. I never did find those pics online...but they were basically tightly packed nosegays of mostly roses w/ some callas. It was lovely, your round version reminds me of it.

I love the one with orchids added to it, but I am a big fan of orchids so I may be biased. I love the shape of it. It is beautiful!

Do you have a preference for structured arrangements? What I mean is do you like them tightly formed into a shape or would you prefer them lightly gathered as if they'd just been picked?
I was just hunting down some ideas for you...

At this point, either is fine. Although I think I'd be happy with a medium in between hand picked and tightly formed. Some structure with a little "wild" to it I guess? Lol, not much help am I?
And for the record, the calla lilies were $3 or $4 a piece, the roses were $3, and I don't remember what the orchids were. So even for silk (well, these are kinda rubbery) it's expensive. Sigh, why can't I just win the lottery?

I like the rounded bouquet too. I also favor going for bold rather than pastel. Cala lilies come in such a variety of colors that you can do some amazing things with them. I had a bride that had a fall wedding. Her bridesmaids wore navy. Her bouquets were a mix of terra cotta roses and rusty orange calas with some dark blue delphinium thrown in to bring in the blue color. They were amazing and the orange and blue looked great together.

I like the round one as well. I would make it a little bigger, but they look great.

Well, I'm going to be different. I like the "spiral", with or without the orchids added, and the "just gathered".
To me the Spiral with the orchids shows the structured with a bit of wild you were talking about. My .

Do you have a Hobby Lobby there??? I used "fake" flowers and got them there on sale for 50% off. They had the sale every couple of months. Sometimes Michaels has some good sales too!

Out of the ones you've shown I really like the spirals without the orchids, I think they're more original and v. pretty.
