Question for you all (pic added)
Okay, so even though we can't set a date yet, I'm trying to get as much of the little stuff done as I can so that I don't have to worry about it down the line if we need to rush the rest.
Right now, I'm doing the bouts. I've found flowers I like (obviously silk)and have put together a few already - I'll show you pics when I get them. For the groomsmen, the bouts are with a sage green flower with ivory berries and a little fern. Tom's will be the same, except the flower will be ivory.
My question is this: Do I need to make bouts for our dads? If so, should they match the groomsmen? Same color, different flower? How does this work?
Thanks girls!

Our dads are getting them and I think they're going to match the ushers and groomsmen.
I think the dads should get at least something to give them a little special attention and recognition.

FH will have a red rose but it will be a little bigger then the rest of the guys. Yes my father will have one. Every one that has a part in the wedding will have something. I am even getting my sisters and his DIL one.

We had bouts for the dad's (and would have had them for the grandfathers if they were still living.) Everyone had the same bout except DH.

Neither of our dad's will be there (Moreno's sadly died a long time ago and mine is not invited) but the men who are standing in for them will have the same colour theme as the rest of the bridal party. Their bouts will match the ushers and BM's which will match all the bouquets.
Mo's will have another flower in his and perhaps some different foliage but will be the same idea and my bouquet will be a bit bigger and more ornate than my Bm's and FGs' but the same colours again.
So that was my rather long-winded yes! They should have one and it should tie in.
Can't wait to see some photos of yours because they sound beautiful!

Yes - the dads should get bouts. At our wedding, the dads had the same ones as the groomsmen. The only man with a different bout was my husband.

Oh, I love that! *totally* love it!
Has the ribbon got pink spots or cream? I can't quite tell... It does look great though.

that looks great!
(I think it's so funny that I can't remember if we had a bout made for FIL... I should look at pics to see but it's one more reminder that sometimes we stress over things that even *we* won't remember just a couple of years later)
