Where should I go??
I am going to book tonight- because Air fare keeps going up for my dates... Opinions please. FH doesn't care where we go.
So my choices:
Sandals in the Bahamas- Couples Only, All Inclusive, Etc.
Occidental in Aruba- All Inclusive
I'm torn. I've been to the Bahamas, so I'd like to go elsewhere. However- it will cost more & from what I understand you can't beat Sandals. What to do, what to do....

I have heard that Sandals is a great resort. Is Aruba where Natalie Halloway disappeared? If so, they aren't really fond of Americans right now. You might not be treated very well there.

Yup- that is where the Natalie Halloway thing happened. I forgot about that. Think they are disliking us though?

My aunt and uncle just got back from Aruba this weekend. They stayed in the same hotel as Natalie Halloway. My uncle tried to get her room(!) He's a little weird like that--I think he thought he'd find something to solve the crime! LOL! I love him--he's funny! Anyway, personally, I would stay away from there. But they loved it and apparently had no issues being American. I think the biggest deterrent might be AMERICANS saying: You're going where Natalie Halloway disappeared?!? I would hate to have that connected to my honeymoon everytime I told someone about it. KWIM?

I know groups are trying to have Americans ban going there because their government is not doing all they can to get to the issues regarding her disappearance and they are being WAAAAY to lax with the suspects.

I vote for Sandals, mostly because I've heard firsthand what a great place it is and how they treat you like royalty. And all inclusive is nice, too.

I think you should go for the Sandals trip this time and visit Aruba down the road. Even though you've gone to the Bahamas before, it's still an awesome place to be (so I've heard) and you've never stayed at Sandals and it's your honeymoon. Those two things right there will make this trip different than your first time visiting.

I've voted for Sandals, I've never been to either place but we did look into the Sandals resorts before we decided on a city break. They look great and from what I've heard the service is great and it's just perfect for unwinding after the stress of planning your wedding!

I too am a big fan of the Bahamas! The Royal Bahamian is a beautiful spot! I was only there for a day as part of "work" and we went to a gazillion hotels in a week- they all sort of blur in to one! Couples only resorts are great for a honeymoon!

Hey Thanks for the reviews You all rock!!
I'm leaning towards Aruba though. I just want to go there. I hear it's the best island. I'm going to get the travel agent to send me both of their flyers though. THANK YOU!
