Default URGENT: Photographer Question
I need information on shooting a friends wedding. I wanted to know what is needed to shoot a wedding in Rocky Point?

My friend is the bride, I am not being paid for the wedding however it is professional equiptment I will be using on a beach in Mexico.

Do I need a work permit or papers if I am not being paid for this work? I just don't want any trouble while I'm down there. Thank you for your help!

Um... where's Rocky Point?! I do shoot on locations, but I don't know anything about permits, etc. I'm assuming it's out of country? Check with the hotel/resort hosting the event... they should know. Also, since it's a beach, make sure you bring several (lots) of zip lock baggies to store your lenses in, even while they're sitting in your bag. Nothing kills equipment faster than sand. Otherwise, don't forget to use your flash a lot... everyone seems to assume the wonderful sun is all you need to light photos.... the flash will be essential to get rid of their raccoon eyes (compliments of the lovely sun!). Sorry I can't be of more use, but I have no idea where Rocky Point is!
