Looking for Candles?
I already have these holders. My sister used those a few months back so I have to find new candles to fit in them. Has any one seen any thing like this. I don't want to buy the candle holder again. I just need the candles!

I can't tell from the picture, but is that a votive candle? You can get cases of them from craft stores.

I think the box says "floating candles" -- I would check your local Dollar Tree, Wal-mart, etc -- they sell those very inexpensively. Oriental Trading has some, too.
Here's a link to some pretty flower shaped ones: http://www.orientaltrading.com/otcwe...ting%20candles
Hope this helps!

The are small taper floating candles! Sorry I forgot to put that in there. The holders I have are not frosted glass.

Wait, are they taper candles or floating candles? I'm confused. Sorry!

LOL, ok, I just don't know what those are. Good luck finding them! If all else fails, I'm sure you could use just plain floating candles in them and they would look beautiful, too. You could even put a little food coloring in the water and make it match your colors.

In the picture on the box I can see what kind of candle it is, but in the image of it outside of the box looks like a votive candle.
Try going to Yankee Candle just to see what the candle looks like.

Okay, are you talking about those flat candles you float in a bowl of water or something? Again, I'd check the craft stores, or Yankee Candles.
Note: if these are going on tables at the reception, make sure you use uncented candles (this goes for everyone guys!). That way, they won't interfere with the aroma of the food.

I know what you're talking about Lj, I've seen them before. You should be able to find them at a craft store like Hobby Lobby or Michael's. Or, just find some short taper candles, they should float, since there's not too much room for them to move around in.

May be this will help.
A swirl of chrome wire supports a glass cup, which when filled with water, creates a beautiful floating candle effect. A single white taper candle will float upwards as the candle burns. A wonderful table decoration or gift for your guests. Measures 6" tall.
and a better picture.

Oh - NOW I get it! I thought it was a white base, and you just place the candle into the glass bowl. Okay... I'm still sticking by Operation Craft Store though.

My brother and his wife had those on the tables for their wedding. I believe they got the candles for them at BigLots? Do you have one of those near you?

I think a normal taper candle should do the job. The candle should float in the water anyway and look like it does in that picture. I'd give it a trial run just to see before you go buy special ones...

lj - you are a very crafty person...you could probably make your own...you would just need to find the correct mold (if you had the time of course)...My mom is making the pillar candles for my table decorations...it turned out to save us alot of cash...of course she had 13 months to make 200 candles.
