is it normal not to be nervous...
I am not nervous about gwtting married at all. I guess the only thing the nerves are affecting is that i am paranoid somthing will go wrong, i know somwthing is bound to change or go wrong but I am hoping it is only something small no one will really care about. I know I have no control over it.. but thats the only thing i am nervous about. I am not nervous to get married because i know I am marrying the right man, and I know my daughter loves him too. I am sooo excited for the day to come, I can't wait for the time off work, and the time we will get to spend with each other ALONE. I can't wait for all of that, so I am pretty excited!

Sure it's normal not to be nervous about getting married. I wasn't nervous about the marriage, just antsy about the wedding and things going smoothly--and I wasn't even that nervous about THAT. So don't worry about the fact that you're not worried. Just enjoy!

Ditto .... heck the only thing I stressed about was getting all of our DIY projects finished on time.
When you know it's right there is nothing to be nervous about Unless of course you have a fear of crowds, public speaking or being the center of attention

That's great that you're not nervous
Many people aren't nervous while planning their wedding. However, don't be alarmed if you get nervous at the last minute, like the night before or that morning. That is perfectly normal and doesn't mean anything really. I was perfectly calm until the morning I was to be married and then I became a total basket case but only for a couple of hours.

it will be ok - even if something goes wrong
My daughter got married on the 7th and we had a few crisises, and even with them. they got married and all is well.
The limo tires had some black stuff on them from them cleaning them -when she got out of the limo, some of the black got on her dress. A friend had some thread and a needle and thank God her dress was one that you could just bunch up and noone was the wiser. Also - she was touching up her makep and squeezed too hard and the makeup went right down on the bottom of the front of her dress. Once again, needle and thread and all was well.
During the reception - the garter landed on a ledge in the brand new built pavillion that we were the first ever reception in, anyway the guys tried jumping up to get the garter, and about a foot long chunk of the crown molding and the ledge came down.
Once - again - don't worry. Everything can be fixed and just remember that the only important thing is in the end, you will be married!!!!!!
