The nerves have hit!
I am so nervous all of a sudden. I'm not really sure why, because everything is going really smoothly. I just want to get married!!
And I found an awesome deal on renting a tandem bike for FH and I to leave the ceremony on. The woman who owns it lives near our ceremony site so I don't even have to try and figure out how to transport the thing!

It's totally normal to be nervous! You're so close though, and it will be awesome.

Wow, what a unique idea
I love the idea of leaving the ceremony on a tandem bicycle. That's so unique! How on earth did you think of that? I guess it's pretty symbolic of two becoming one so it definitely fits in with the idea behind marriage. And don't worry about the nerves - we all go through that. I haven't met anyone that didn't at some point become nervous. It's an enormous step to take and one of the most serious in our lives. I think it would be unusual NOT to be nervous.

Thank you. FH loves bikes and we have sort of an 'green' feel to the wedding so I just put the two together. I can't wait to see his face when he sees it!

Lala,
Your not the only one who has gotten nervous! Saturday is our wedding day, and I think that my nerves have finally hit! I was really emotional today, between talking to Rick's godson, and talking to a friend down in oklahoma. I had tears running down my face!
But...my in-laws still havent been to our apartment....YET! So tomorrow I am going to get up, and do some cleaning, just in case Rick decides to bring his mom back over to the apartment while I am gone with my moh!
Just have a fun time with your ceremony...thats the advice that my sister-in-law gave me. She said to try to remember everything that goes on. But I think that I am goin to be very emotional!
Take care sweetie! ~peace, hugs, & respect!~ Jeanine

Leaving on a Tandem bike is such a cute idea. I couldn't find any pictures of your dress. Are you going to be able to ride a bike very well in it??

Nope! I'll be changing. We are camping that night with friends, so there is no way I'd go in my dress. I don't have a picture of what I will actually look like, but this is the dress:
I've got a chocolate sash that comes down to the hem of the dress (3" wide) and I'll be wearing a birdcage veil. And if the weather doesn't shape up, a fleece jacket and long johns underneath.

Your dress is beautiful as well. Have you decided what you will be wearing to leave?

Thanks ladies!
Well, I bought a cute summery dress, but our weather has been AWFUL lately. Actually, I shouldn't say that will all the really terrible weather in the midwest. It's just that it's currently 53 and I honestly don't know the last time the sun came out. It's cold. I'm thinking pedal pushers & a cute hoodie that I just bought that has a faux shearling lining. (on the first day of summer! Good grief!!) It's a 4 mile ride to the camp grounds, so if it happens to be sunny, I'll be fine in the dress.

Lala,
I just LOVE your dress! I also love the idea of a fleece jacket and long johns underneath if the weather doesnt straighten up!
Iowa has been hit hard by bad weather, and Im just hoping that today is a beautiful day! But we are going to be under a shelter at the park, so we shouldnt have to worry if it is rainy!
I hope that you have a great weekend, and will talk with you soon!
~Peace, Hugs, & Respect!~
