Default make-up advice

I do not wear make-up. OK, I won't leave the house without mascara on, but other than that, never. On a day to day basis, I'm happy with how my skin looks. BUT I want to look flawless on my wedding day. The problem is, I don't want to cover up my freckles. Is there some way to even my skin tone without covering them?

I was told that mixing a little mineral foundation w/ moisturizer will make a great cream foundation. Maybe I was using too much of the powder in my mix, but I looked like the 'pancake face' girls in high school that scared me away from make-up.

Hi Lala,
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! As far as something natural that won't cover your freckles, I wouldn't even use mineral powder as it is actually quite heavy for a powder and your run the risk of a possible "mask-like" look in your wedding photos (the natural SPF in mineral powder can sometimes cause your face to look a lighter shade than the rest of your body). I would actually do your daily skin care routine topped by a nice moisturizer that fits your skin type, and buff on a translucent powder that has a banana yellow color to it. Why specifically banana yellow? Well, the yellow tone will help to cut down on any redness in your face and the consistency of the translucent powder will still allow your freckles to show through. My favorite type of light yellow translucent powder is the one from Cinema Secrets that you can purchase at www.camerareadycosmetics.com.
Good luck and i'm sure others will have suggestions to
