Default Booked the Cruise!!!
Okay Ladies....

We booked the Cruise!!! This is what we booked...if anyone has any ideas on any of these ports or whatever...PLEASE feel free to share...

5-Day Carnival Bahamas Cruise on the ship Sensation

Ports of Call:
Nassau
Half Moon Cay
Grand Turks

We leave from Orlando....

I was scared....BUT...we did go for the oceanview, and I did a pretty good deck (I guess)...

I also (tell me if anyone else had heard this)..i just booked the guarantee oceanview room for a particular deck (which means I don't care which room we get)....so I heard that cruise lines have to give you that deck or better, and sometimes you get really good upgrades for free!!..

I don't know if I'm explaining that well enough....

But yes, I'm excited!!

That is awesome. I wish FH would take me on a cruise but now he won't get on a ship that big. GRRR. That is my one dream. I want it to come true before I die.

Congrats on the booking! I don't know about the upgrades, butit sounds like a possibility. I mean, if they book all of your level as specific rooms, they can't downgrade you, so they'd have to upgrade.

I've been on the Sensation. Twice. It was wonderful both times. When you saw "Oceanview," there are two kinds of oceanview. On the lower levels, the ocean view is through a port hole type of window. On the Main, Upper levels, it is a large picture window that runs the entire width of the outside wall, so you can lie in bed together and look out the window.

Which one did you get?

On one cruise to the Bahamas, we took a horse and carriage ride through Nassau. Cheesy and expensive, but a lot of fun. Also went to dinner a little bit outside of the tourist area--had the conch. It was wonderful.

Thanks guys!! I am totally pumped! I just ordered some books about cruises and the different ports of call from Amazon...Woo hoo!! I think instead of counting down until the weddings...I'll start counting down to the cruise...
