Judging from some of the responses below, I suppose a brief definition is in order.
An "Entrance Song" is the music played as part of your arrival and formal introduction to your reception. It is the musical fanfare that accompanies your first public act as a couple, outside of your ceremony. You left your ceremony as a married couple and now you are officially entering the outside world as one.
Your entrance is the opportunity for those closest to you to show their congratulations and approval by applause and general noise making, in a moment of high emotion. The point here is to pick a song that matches the energy and enthusiasm you and your guests feel about finding and marrying that special person!
Let's start with what you like. If you list your 5 favorite artists, chances are there are one or more songs by them that will work. This way, you are likely to come up with something no one else has thought of.
I could give you a list of what others have done but then you are running the risk of not being original or even cliched. For instance, U2's "It's A Beautiful Day" has been done to death. And if I hear "Let Get It Started" one more time I think I'll get sick.
Take a few minutes to look through your CDs or recently downloaded songs. Is there anything high energy there? Good, now picture yourself walking in to it. Almost any song with energy will work, as long as the lyrics, if there are any, are appropriate to you.
Any category will work- Country, Rock, Swing, Hip Hop, Dance, Classical, Soundtrack, etc.
Good Hunting!
