Default Make-up for Pale Complexions

I have an extremely light complexion and have yet to find an undereye concealer, foundation, or powder that doesn't look silly on me. I've gone to all the department store make-up counters that I can find and it seems like the lightest shades are always just one shade too dark on my skin. Or, alternately, they are light enough, but since I have pinkish undertones, they still look too yellowy or just downright pasty.

Do you have any suggestions for for those of us with "Scandinavian" complexions?

Thanks!

Hi Eldib,
I know many women who share your pain. Fortunately, there is help! You probably need to look into lines that are formulated in other countries. This would include Makeup Forever, Guerlain, Chanel, Lancome, etc.
I have just tried Makeup Forever's new HD foundations that are absolutely beautiful and are calibrated to work with HD video and flash photography. You cannot tell you have foundation on, it's that amazing. Since Makeup Forever is formulated in France, many of their lighter foundations and concealers have pink undertones. This is also the case with other French lines.
You can play with Makeup Forever at your local Sephora.

I am also sure you will get alot of help with the responses of our other lovely forum members. Best of luck to you!

Are you looking for powder or liquid foundation? I myself am completely transparent (you think I'm kidding, but I'm not) and I've had good luck with powder foundations from MAC, and liquid from Chanel and Lancome.

Thanks for the tips ladies! I recently tested a bunch of MAC powders but found them either too whitewhite or too tan but I'll definitely check out Chanel and next time I'm near a Sephora I'll look into Makeup Forever.
